I studied conceptual textiles at Norwich School of Art and Design. Inspired by the grid I explored  knitting with wire. On leaving college I spent 15 years creating sculptural knitted wire jewellery, exhibiting in Pall Mall in London and selling my work to  galleries all over the country.

Recent work has involved manipulating knitted wire and using recycled and found metal to create sculptural wall pieces.
